About this course
Ensure that all our graduates are fully competent and can safely and effectively carry out HIFU treatments on the Face and Neck
This course is suitable for Beauty Therapists with the suitable pre-requisites (Level 3 Beauty or equivalent) and Aesthetic practitioners.
Students should read the course materials fully prior to attending the onsite course at the Academy of Advanced Beauty
In order to graduate from all of our courses, students will need to pass a final written examination to assess their knowledge and understanding and to pass a practical observation performing the treatment in full, including client consultation and aftercare.
For our Short Courses, we will provide an Academy of Advanced Beauty Diploma
Our short course is based on core knowledge which explores the science behind the treatment further, and comprises of a two-day practical training session where you will be asked to demonstrate your competence in the treatment through a series of assessments and exams.
This course qualifies you for CPD points and insurance cover.

Barbara Freytag, the Principal and Owner of Academy of Advanced Beauty, is a highly trained radiographer, having worked in a top heart transplant team in the early stages of her career. Now one of the UK’s best-known aesthetic and beauty training practitioners, specializing in treatments utilizing Ultrasound, Radio Frequency and other non-invasive technology, Barbara founded the Academy of Advanced Beauty in 2009.
