Introduction
This course will enable you to employ Microsoft Project as a powerful tool for implementing project management principles and practices in order to successfully achieve your goals.  Post course support is available for 3 months following the course via Telephone or Email.

Course Content

• Overview of Microsoft Project
• Views: Gantt charts, Pert charts, Calendar, task & resource sheet
• Creating a Project: base calendars, tasks, resources
• Task durations, recurring tasks, summary tasks
• Creating milestones
• Linking tasks and scheduling, splitting tasks
• Resources and costs: assigning resources to tasks, setting task types
• Setting task deadlines and constraints
• Using filters and outlines, creating custom tables
• Importing and exporting data from other applications
• Project reporting and tracking
• Examining the Critical Path and the Network Diagram
• Creating and linking multiple projects

Suitability

Project Managers and anyone involved in project management, who wish to learn how to use Microsoft Project to help them achieve their objectives.
