Aim:
This course is designed for anyone who wants to develop or improve their IT skills working with Word Processing application skills.

Length of Study:
9 weeks with tutor support

Entry Requirements:
Students should have basic keyboarding skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Windows environment.

Contents:
Fundamentals, Documents, Editing Text, Printing, Formatting Text, Tools, Formatting Paragraphs, Advanced Editing, Advanced Formatting, File Management

Study Method:
Home or work based self study with additional support and advice from personal tutor

Assessments:
There is no formal assessment, but after completing the course students can, if they with, obtain a College certificate by taking a practical asessment.

Comments:
Students will require access to a PC with Microsoft Office Software, although access to college computing facilities can be arranged if required.
