Midwifery Studies

At the end of this course you, the student, will be able to:

Demonstrate comprehensive critical knowledge, skills and understanding of the theories, concepts and midwifery practice in both the national and international arena.
Demonstrate autonomous, independent learning and problem solving to sustain and advance their continuing professional development.
Develop originality, critical objective judgements and complex decision making to enable them to make innovative use of evidence for best midwifery practice.
Develop enhanced skills to effectively collaborate with inter-professional agencies.

Recent Midwifery practice
Recognised Midwifery degree
Applicants who do not have a first degree will have to demonstrate recent evidence of study at level 6 or equivalent midwifery experience.
