Course programme

The modules for this course can be found in the latest programme specification.

In order to meet NMC clinical competency requirements students undertake clinic practice alongside undergraduate students on the BSc (Hons) Midwifery Studies route over the three years.

Core theory is also shared with the undergraduate programme, however the MSc programme has bespoke activities to ensure students meet the higher academic level expected in a master's programme.

In the final year of the programme your academic study will be undertaken with other postgraduate students, who are in clinical practice and studying part time.
