Course programme
The following requirements must be fulfilled: 21 credits, including a 3-credit required course and 18 credits in elective courses.
Required
- Introduction to Africana Studies
18 credits in courses to be selected in consultation with the program director.
Students in the minor build an academic foundation in the cultural, political and intellectual experiences of people of African descent in the Americas, Caribbean, Europe and Africa. Requirements include one core class, with the remaining 18 credits to be chosen from electives.
