It covers the necessary clinical skills and pharmacology as well as Evidence Based Practice, Communication, and Management of Change. It is taught by practising clinicians who are the editors of the best-selling "Minor Illness Manual". Course review:
The course begins with an intensive five days of seminars, either on-site in our spacious premises in Luton or (by commission) at satellite locations. These five days may be split into two blocks if desired. The student then undergoes six months of supervised practice with an approved mentor (usually a GP). Students must complete five assignments and a Manual of Clinical Competencies.

The course is accredited by the University of Bedfordshire for 45 CATS points at Level 3, and the quoted price includes the cost of University accreditation.
Those not wishing to achieve accreditation can attend tfor he five days of seminars or the Update afternoon.
