More Patchwork and Quilting

Course review:

In this lovely workshop, We’ll recap patchwork and quilting basics including; design, piecing, machine & hand quilting.

You’ll learn how to make a ‘Pickety Sticks’ design cushion cover, which includes the ‘stitch and flip’ technique. We’ll talk about colours and styles, and will impart all the hints, tips and rules we’ve learnt over the years, to make the process easier for you.

Time-permitting, we’ll also work on some decorative techniques including applique. And you’ll take home detailed instructions, so that you can make more cushion covers, or perhaps even a beautiful quilt! Basic sewing machine experience required.
