These will include how to remove and fit car components, health & safety, engine lubrication systems, Brake and exhaust systems, steering and suspension systems, car service procedures and removing, fitting and balancing tyres.

Entry Requirements

You do not need any formal qualifications, but you will be required to sit a numeracy and literacy test online plus a dexterity test with tool identification.

Delivery and Assessment

Practical tasks, written assignments and online assessment.

Progression

On successful completion of the programme you may progress to a full apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Studies, or go to level 2 Motor Vehicle Studies (full time). You may choose to go directly into employment.
