Course programme

The motor vehicle programme, delivered over one year, will allow you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in the motor vehicle area. This is a practical award, containing 12 units, aimed at students seeking a minimum qualification in the motor vehicle industry. These units include, engine lubrication and cooling, fuel and exhaust systems, electrical systems, braking systems, steering and suspension, and wheels and tyres. Throughout the course you will also develop essential work place skills in housekeeping, team building, problem solving, health and safety and workspace management.


1 Year or 2 years if studying on Friday afternoons
