Course Summary
Summary: Many employees find the process of moving from one job to another a daunting experience, even if that move is to another position within the same company.
This course is aimed at supporting employees through the transition process, by looking at what skills they are able to transfer effectively. It will focus upon skills analysis, job search, internal vacancies, application forms, CV writing and an introduction to interview skills with a learner centred approach.

To help prepare employees for the transition from one job to another be it internally or externally giving them an insight into the processes including application and preparation for interview.
By the end of this session you will:
- Identify strengths and areas for development
- List three methods of job searching, internally or externally
- Describe the value and importance of a current well written CV
- List 10 interview do's and don'ts
- Take part in a mock interview scenario
- Complete a personal job finders action plan
The workshop content will include:
- Personal skills profile
- Effective Job searching techniques
- Applying for internal posts
- Introduction to CV's, good and bad practice
- Different interview formats
- Interview do's and don'ts
- Mock interview video filed and debriefed
- Personal needs analysis
- Completing a personal action plan
