Finance for Business
Finance for Business aims to equip non-financial managers with core tools and techniques to be able to analyse financial performance, evaluate alternative sources of finance, explore different financial investment appraisal tools and evaluate the utility of financial information during decision making.
Leading and Managing People
This module aims to provide a comprehensive review of the theory and practice of organisational behaviour and HR management, including leadership, team dynamics and culture, recruitment and selection, rewards, and diversity and ethics in the workplace.
Essentials of Marketing and Ethics in global Business

This module allows you to explore different theories of asset pricing methodology and to understand the principles of risk and return. Examination of market efficiency, interest rates and yields, options and derivatives follows, together with an exploration of behavioural finance.
Research Methods
This module introduces a range of research methods and types of research projects. You will learn how to formulate a research question and to find answers using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Research Proposal
This module is a chance for you to plan independent research into either a current issue in management practice or a more theoretical problem. You will analyse relevant literature, develop a research plan and identify any ethical issues associated with your chosen topic.
Independent Research Project
By undertaking a longer piece of sustained research, reflection and writing, you will demonstrate: critical analytical skills; the ability to gather and synthesise data and literature from a range of sources; and subject specific knowledge. This will draw upon skills and knowledge acquired through your whole degree, including self and time management. You’ll work under the guidance of a personal supervisor with expertise in the subject you’re studying. They’ll help you develop research questions and identify methods and theories to investigate and analyse your topic.
