About this course


With statistics suggesting 1 in 4 people live with or experience a mental health problem in their lifetime, there is a great demand for trained professionals. Our course will provide you with the academic and research skills you need to continue onto further professional training in clinical psychology. Alternatively it provides an excellent basis to work in other mental health and care environments. You’re also in the perfect position to continue your academic career.

A 2.1 Undergraduate degree in Psychology or other closely related discipline, or equivalent. An interview is required for students with a Graduate Basis for Recognition (GBR) 2.2 undergraduate degree in Psychology. Where there is no clear equivalence, decisions will be made by the admissions staff.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 7.0 ( Academic level), or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
