"During my time at the University I have networked with many people most of whom will remain friends for life. These connections are partly the reason, alongside revision and study, for my success on both my current course (MSc Professional Accounting and Finance) and prior course (BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance).

"One such group are the Business School lecturers. These individuals are professional, many of whom have worked in the finance industry itself. This provides students with figures to look up to and aspire to become, in addition to the specialist knowledge these individuals can provide.

"After the course I hope to secure an accounting position in a small to medium sized accounting firm, with future prospects to begin my own practice or reach the level of partner in another firm.

"To any student thinking of doing a masters, or who desires a strong career in accountancy and currently has exemptions for the nine foundation papers with ACCA, I strongly recommend the MSc Professional Accounting and Finance. I am sure it will be as enlightening to you as it has been for me.”

Peter Davis - MSc Professional Accounting and Finance
