The training you'll undertake as part of the MTA: Network Fundamentals course will prepare you for the Microsoft exam 98-366– an entry-level credential from Microsoft.

Microsoft's 98-366 certification proves to employers that you know how to set up and administer basic networks, and have a good foundational knowledge for higher-level network administration.

This course teaches you how to create good network design, and explains how wireless networking and network equipment (particularly layer 2 and 3 switches and routers) work. By the time you've finished this training, you'll be ready for the certification exam and know how to perform basic server administration for a small business or department.

This MTA Network Fundamentals course provides an appropriate entry point to a future career in technology and assumes some hands-on experience or training but does not assume on-the-job experience.
