The world has learned about the Lithuanians' skills and creativity, when, in December 2017, The President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė presented the Pope the unique needle eye's size nano Nativity scene. A microscopic replica of the Nativity scene that is erected for the Christmas season in Vilnius Cathedral Square has attracted the World's Guinness Records Book editors' attention.
The students of Multimedia and Computer Design study programme can surprise. And this is exactly what they do! They attract public attention, surprise, and even shock!
Multimedia, i.e. miscellaneous information, is the presentation of information in various forms: texts, images, sounds, animation. Also, this stands for various software and technical equipment that is intended for work with any information.
Sight and hearing are vital for communication and orientation in the environment. Thus, video and sound together provide an opportunity to better understand information and are applied for the development of multimedia technologies. These technologies are fastly spreading in business, education, media, medicine, virtual communication, entertainment and many other fields.
Multimedia and Computer Design study programme provides the comprehensive knowledge of website, 3D and 2D video, sound production, editing, and computer graphics. The graduates of the programme have knowledge of multimedia software design and development, and are able to apply knowledge of multimedia, IT, computer design, digital information transfer technologies.
