What I would highlight: I study International Business because, in my opinion, an international study focus has been getting more and more important nowadays. We live in times characterized by increasing internationality. As an employee, you are no longer bound to a certain location but are instead able to work anywhere. International Business offers the chance to gain economical expertise not only on a national, but on an international level as well. For me, a pure business administration study program would not have been sufficient. I chose MBS because there are small classes with no more than 30 fellow students at the very most. This familiar atmosphere provides room to ask any kind of questions and discuss various views. The international background of the students and lecturers guarantees an intense exchange of experiences nonetheless. In addition, I really liked the option to select two business concentrations. The basic courses taking place during the first semesters provide an overview of the different business areas, enabling you to make a decision on which concentrations to pick. Furthermore, I liked being able to gather practical experiences during the three internships as well as international experience during my semester abroad. My concentrations are International Marketing and International Human Resources Management. I picked International Marketing because during my basic courses I noticed that I am really interested in this area. I can imagine working in the marketing field later on. International Human Resources Management was my second choice because I eventually want to work on the management level. Even if I won’t, it is a huge advantage to know a thing or two about the different leadership styles.

What I would highlight: In the Bachelor International Business study program, students get brilliant and profound insights into diverse disciplines that include accounting, marketing, finance and many other fields. Not only do students get in-depth theoretical knowledge of many subcategories of these modules, but the professors employ a very high practical teaching method, which enables students to apply what they learn in the real world. Moreover, they also get the chance to learn a new language during this program and even have the opportunity to select a geographic specialization based on the language they have chosen.

What I would highlight: To me, economic and cultural history by Prof. Dr. Harald Müllich was highly interesting because it provided us the students with the opportunity to broaden our horizon. Over the course of the five semesters with Prof. Dr. Müllich, we were able to refresh our general knowledge and education and gained insights into art history, philosophy and history. Each semester had another topic: During the first semester, for example, we treated much general knowledge and learned things about the European Union. In the third semester, art history and the characteristics of the various eras were in the focus, and the fifth semester concentrated on philosophy. Sometimes, the course did not really seem connected to our actual study program. But now, we are able to hold knowledgeable conversations about subjects related to the arts, to history and to philosophy. In my own personal view, this is rather important.

What I would highlight: One of the reasons I chose MBS was that I would improve my English and become acquainted with other cultures. Looking back, I see that this assessment was absolutely right. During my studies at MBS, I have made many new friends from a variety of countries and cultures, and I am still in contact with them today. Thanks to the international orientation of MBS and the associated instruction in English, my command of English has greatly improved so that now I will finish my studies with a semester abroad in London. In addition, the many different cultural backgrounds of the students at MBS frequently gave rise to lively, top quality discussions. MBS has strengthened me enormously in my professional path. The knowledge that was imparted to us students has a lot of practical relevance, and the teaching was closely oriented to practice as well, so that now I really feel ready to take off. During the time of my studies, I developed self-assurance that I was doing „my thing“ and was supported by many professors in starting my own company while still a student. I am very thankful to MBS for this. In five years, I will continue to be in this company and still have many contacts to my professors at MBS. While it may not have been the favorite subject of most students, I can say in retrospect that the module “Business and Society” was the one of greatest benefit to me. The topics we dealt with included history, philosophy and business ethics. I think that in the context of a Master program, it is very valuable to understand the economy as a whole and not just to be an expert in a special area. This is why “Business and Society” was the most important module for me in the Master program, along with “Success Factor Happiness” and “Negotiation Skills”. When I started the Master program, there were many topics of importance for me, such as, for example, digitization and technological progress, forming a company, and leadership. During my studies, it turned out that I would not have to forgo any of these topics. The broad range of options made it possible, for the most part, for me to decide on the contents of my studies myself and to select several “favorite subjects”. Thus I did not have a single favorite subject – my favorite subject was the entire Master program.

What I would highlight: My parents thought that Germany was a very interesting country and that one would get to know and experience an entirely different culture here. Thus I came to Germany and attended the Hermann-Hesse-Kolleg in Horb, a language school in Baden-Württemberg here in Germany, where a lecturer told me about MBS. I then looked up MBS, talked to my parents, and visited MBS myself to meet the study advisor there. I liked it a lot and I finally applied. One important reason for my decision for MBS was that there are so many ways to get into contact with various companies. The cultures are actually not all that different as I thought. I managed to settle in pretty fast. My fellow students and the MBS staff members are always willing to help if you have any questions. The language isn't a great problem either because most people in Munich speak English. Nevertheless, it is better if you also speak a bit of German. Usually, I go to university at nine o’clock, but of course it does depend on your classes. About noon, I usually grab something to eat at one of the nearby shops and share a meal with my friends in the MBS Lounge. After classes, I either go home or do something with my fellow students. In summer, we like to go to the beer garden together, have a beer and enjoy the weather. There are also regular events at MBS, where you will meet people from various companies. You will get interesting information there and have the opportunity of talking to representatives of large companies.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: I chose MBS because it offered a big variety of subjects and a Dual Degree option. I felt like it was a great opportunity for me to continue with my education there, get international experience and a good network. Also MBS has some “unique” subjects like Success Factor Happiness, which are not difficult, but very useful. MBS has a special community spirit, which you can feel even while going through the application process, as all their staff are very helpful, friendly and engaging; this is especially important if you are a foreigner. Moreover, the interview process at MBS was a lot of fun, which also influenced my ultimate decision. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: It was a lot of fun to meet people from all over the globe and study with them. Of course, it was quite challenging sometimes to do the group projects, but I can call it the most interesting part, too. Studying with people from different countries teaches you to be loyal and flexible, and moreover, makes you a great listener (if you are willing to learn, of course), who not only listens to what other people say, but tries to get to the actual point of what they are saying. And, of course, it’s a lot of fun at the end as well, as you make friends and broaden your horizon with learning things about different countries. Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: For me personally, the biggest advantages of studying at MBS turned out to be the Dual Degree, all the projects I’ve done during my studies at MBS, and the network I built during career fairs and the MBS International Week. Those helped me a lot with finding a job and experience the working environment in Germany, as I had something unique in my CV (Dual Degree), quite a lot of international experience and team working skills. It has to be mentioned that the knowledge you get at MBS might significantly lighten your path, as MBS offers a variety of practical courses, like negotiation management skills, which help you every day in basically everything you do.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: I chose to come to Munich Business School for a number of reasons. Not only did it seem to be critically acclaimed in the academia world, but also I was enticed by the style of learning that MBS advocated. MBS has small class sizes for a more intimate connection with your professors and classmates, as well as a focus on practical application of your learning, not just theoretical. Lastly I would say I was very enticed by the international aspect, having never left the United States before I wanted my learning environment to have a truly international atmosphere and that is exactly what I received at MBS with friends and classmates from all over the world. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: The intercultural environment at MBS is something that is truly unlike any other. You have the opportunity to not only meet and network with students and faculty from all over the globe, but also the opportunity to collaborate on projects and create solutions together. I believe in today’s global economy, it is so important to work with and understand other cultures. MBS gives you the opportunity to see and experience how people from different cultures think and allows you to learn tremendously from one another. I would have to guess that MBS is one of, if not the most international top university in Germany right now; I can’t recommend it enough if an intercultural learning environment is something that is important to you. Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: There are many advantages of doing your Master’s Degree at MBS. Your professors not only have the pinnacle of academic teaching experience, but also have vast work experience in some of the top firms worldwide. You also have full access to the immense networking capabilities that MBS has to offer, with connections to some of the most sought after companies globally. In addition, you have the opportunity to study abroad at a location of your choosing from just about anywhere in the world. I recently returned from my studies at Tongji University in Shanghai, and it was one of the more valuable experiences I have had in my life so far. Doing your Master Degree with MBS opens a world of possibilities. Advice I would give people interested in the Master’s program at MBS: The advice I would give to people being interested in the Master’s program at MBS is to really take advantage of everything the university has to offer. There are so many extra-curricular activities you can partake in as well as insightful lectures and workshops hosted by top professionals in their field. MBS makes it very easy for you to make friends simply from attending as many of the amazing events they have as you can. I would recommend for students, especially ones coming to Germany for the first time and not know anyone, to absolutely take advantage of all the activities MBS has to offer and you will not regret that you did.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: When I was deciding where I wanted to do my Master’s degree, I had a few conditions. I wanted to study in an economically strong country such as Germany and in a city that would provide me a great business environment. After I had done my research, MBS was an obvious choice for me. I also had a friend from Croatia studying at MBS and she had an amazing experience. Her recommendations made me even more keen to apply for MBS. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: Throughout my Master International Business studies at MBS, I’ve met a lot of friends with whom I am still in contact and hang out. I had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world, and not just to meet them, but be friends with them and visit them in their home countries. I even went to visit my friends from MBS while I was still studying. For me personally, that is one of the most amazing experiences MBS provides you. What I liked about my studies at MBS: I like the practical knowledge I have gained, I have met lot of people and expanded my business network. Furthermore, I improved many of my skills which I will need when searching for a job. I also liked the opportunity of going to UCLA, United States, during my exchange semester. MBS has a great selection of international schools where you can go for your study abroad semester.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: Germany – with its powerful economy, rich culture, and organized way of life – is the country where my sister studied and successfully realized herself as a professional. Therefore, there was no question for me whether to study in Germany or not. The only thing that I had to find out for myself was a city and university. Since I was raised in a family of businessmen, I was always striving for a business-oriented education with a strong focus on the real business world. What is more, a lot of friends whom I met in Munich have graduated from MBS and were recommending the university due to its multicultural background, strong basis for building a successful career, and interesting student life. That is why for me the question of choosing MBS was obvious, and I did not even hesitate. Advantages of doing a Master's Degree at MBS: A lot of professors and lecturers at MBS work in well-known companies, have their own businesses, or command large professional experience, which they have gathered via actual corporate practice. For sure, this gives the students a lot of opportunities. Firstly, the lecturers can share their knowledge and insights from the business perspective, what provides a much more precise and practical look at the theory. Secondly, MBS has got a big range of company connections that allow the students to get insights into companies where they would potentially like to do their internships or apply for a job. What I also found very attractive is that the career service at MBS is working perfectly. The students have the chance to ask for support any time, and to get professional advice and recommendations in terms of CV, motivation letter, application strategies, and interviews. For sure, such knowledge helps incredibly while searching for a job or internship. What I liked about my studies at MBS: I did really like the practical part of my studies at MBS. We were steadily having classes where we engaged in real business project. As an example, we were developing a strategy for a start-up in Munich. Working in an international student team, we provided research, organized regular meetings with the company representatives, listened for their wishes, and aligned the budget and necessary activities to promote the company on the German as well as the international market. At the end of the day, we were acting as business consultants in a real-life business case. Via such projects, we could feel the responsibility for the ongoing project and keep track of the actual business.

What I would highlight: My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: What intrigued me already while earning my Bachelor degree at MBS, and contributed a great deal to the appeal of my studies, was the focus on Asian-Pacific Business Studies. I had the opportunity to learn the basics of the Chinese language and familiarize myself with Chinese history, culture, and economy. The Master program with another international focus was the perfect continuation, as I again immersed myself in the Chinese market and economic area while spending a second stay abroad. Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: One of the aspects that convinced me to also do my Master degree at MBS was the Business Project. During this project, we students were given the opportunity to apply our business knowledge in collaboration with renowned companies and to put it into practice. For the duration of the project, our team was coached by an MBS lecturer who worked for such a company himself. This study content, which is very difficult or even impossible to implement at a state university because of the large number of students, reassured me in my decision to study at MBS. My favorite lecture(s): One course I pursued with great interest and anticipation was "Success Factor Happiness", which brings the issue of happiness in line with the economy. In various themed segments, we discussed the latest findings of happiness research and their applicability to the economy. The course comprised the philosophy as well as the psychology of happiness, and derived from them basic characteristics of business management/culture and marketing/branding. In addition to this new learning content, we were also able to discover more about ourselves through numerous exercises.

What I would highlight: What I liked about my studies at MBS: I liked many things while studying at MBS: the internationality and interactivity of students and staff, as well as the diversity of the lectures. I also appreciated that the grade for a subject is not solely dependent on the final examination. During the semester, we were given continuous assessments of our academic achievements. On the basis of individual and group presentations as well as midterms, we had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with a variety of examination methods and positively influence between 30 % and 40 % of a final grade in advance. Numerous evening lectures by renowned and international guest speakers from different industries promoted the interactivity of the studies and afforded us students profound insights into many areas of the economy time and again. In addition, with all its "places-to-be", Munich offers an interesting and exciting study environment and contributes to expanding one's horizons and social network. In five years’ time I see myself... … in an executive management position in the communications department of a large luxury goods enterprise. Although this answers the question, I would like to add that due to the versatility of the Master degree at MBS, I would not have to limit myself in this way. I could just as likely see myself in a leading consultancy role or as the sales manager of a large fashion label. The Master degree has allowed me to comprehensively and extensively educate myself despite my specialization, and has deepened my economic knowledge. I am sure that this professional flexibility and versatility will pay off in my upcoming job search. Student life at MBS means: Being a student at MBS means one thing for sure: to be studious. Short semesters (approx. 4 months), interactive, dialogical lectures, small intermediate exams in the form of continuous assessments of academic achievement, and a tight examination schedule require attentiveness from the outset, studiousness and active engagement with the subject matter. However, life at MBS also means having fun, meeting a lot of people, attending many interactive events even outside the regular lectures, and participating in activities that foster team-building and excellent social skills. MBS thus not only gives its students an ideal start in the professional world, but also promotes personal interaction and social skills.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: Munich Business School offers a unique program selection with a wide array of concentrations, e.g. Luxury Management. This was one of the main reasons for me to choose the Master International Business program at MBS. The top-class lecturers with their real business know-how reinforced my decision to study here. The personal atmosphere and small course sizes create a very pleasant learning environment. MBS’s international orientation was also important for me – not only studying with people from all over the world here in Munich but also spending my semester abroad at one of the many renowned partner universities worldwide. In the end, it wasn’t just one factor that made me decide in favor of MBS, but the many different advantages the university has to offer. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: MBS is very international. It is always interesting to get to know different cultures on a very personal level. In our international teams or projects, it is sometimes challenging to overcome these cultural differences and focus on the common ground – which in itself is a great learning for our future everyday work life in international companies. This intercultural orientation is supported by the curricular content at MBS, for example the lecture series “International Leadership” by Prof. Dr. Albrecht or the “Intercultural Business Etiquette” seminar. What I particularly liked at MBS: The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at MBS is outstanding; especially at the Front Desk where you are always greeted with a smile or a few friendly words. Also, the international and multicultural environment is unique. The interaction between different cultures offers a great place for exchanging ideas and getting to know fascinating people – be it at MBS events, BBQs or parties. Teamwork is also very important at MBS and there are many ways to be active and engaged in activities or initiatives, e.g. for a good cause at “MBS helps”.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: The international focus of the Master program was the main reason why I chose MBS instead of another university. It was very important to me that the entire program is taught in English and that students and lecturers come from all over the world. Furthermore, MBS has a very extensive network of partner universities, which enabled me to spend my semester abroad at UCLA in Los Angeles. A further advantage is the location of the university in Munich, which is a very beautiful, vibrant and modern city with outstanding dining, nightlife and shopping possibilities. Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: One advantage over other universities is the fact that the entire program is taught in English with international lecturers who are experts from corporate practice. Hence, valuable lessons from the business world are given to students, and lecturers are also very helpful when it comes to internships or job openings in their industry or network. Another advantage is the very good reputation and very good ranking of the university which definitely will be a door opener in your future career. Furthermore, student mobility is very high due to the extensive network of partner universities, the opportunity of a Dual Degree as well as the offering of internships and jobs on the MBS career website. My favorite lectures My favorite lectures were “Corporate Strategy, Innovation and Change”, “International Leadership” and the “Business Project”. Corporate Strategy, Innovation and Change was one of my specializations and I really enjoyed this lecture because it was very practice-oriented. For example, once, we had a one-day workshop with executives from Audi in which we discussed and presented our ideas of the future of mobility. International Leadership was very interesting because the topic is very multifaceted and, in order to strengthen our knowledge, we did many different case studies in class in which we were able to apply our knowledge and discuss different outcomes. Furthermore, I liked the one-year business project in which our project team developed a market entry strategy for the messaging app “LINE”. Back then, it was only one more messaging app, which wanted to enter the German market with the help of our project team. Today, it is the number one messaging app in Apple’s iTunes store regarding world-wide revenues. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: It was outstanding. Internationality was not only talked about but lived by. Students and lecturers from all over the world came together and worked together on a daily basis. Since the majority of the students in the program came to Munich for the first time (including myself), there was a very open and welcoming atmosphere right from the beginning. Moreover, the entire MBS staff was always very helpful and supportive regarding anything. Also, there were so many events organized by MBS and the students that we also spent a lot of time together outside the university where many long-lasting friendships were made.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: After finishing my Bachelor’s degree in economics in Moscow, I realized that I’m missing practical knowledge, so I decided to switch from state university to a Business School where students are dealing with real case studies. I was always interested in luxury management and that is why was searching for a Business School that is offering such kind of courses. Moreover, I had a friend who was already studying at MBS and gave me a solid understanding about the level of education, professors and environment. In addition, Munich is one of my favorite cities, so this choice was an easy one for me. After finishing MBS, I can say that this choice was the best and most important for now in my life. Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: One of the most important aspects is the high level of education and very knowledgeable professors. Another big advantage is case studies with great companies like BMW, where you have a chance to present your ideas to managers and even get a job offer (which I got from BMW after our presentation) that gives you an opportunity to apply the knowledge from the studies in the real business world. At MBS, you have a chance to work with people from all over the world together with a great choice of semester abroad options, where you get an international experience. Last but not least, you feel comfortable during the studies, the environment is very friendly; if you need any help, you will get it. What I found most challenging: During my Bachelor studies, I had almost only theoretical classes like statistics, economics, econometrics and so on. As a result, I was almost speechless: In these 4 years, I had held only one presentation, which was my Bachelor thesis. So the most challenging for me at first were the many presentations that we held on a weekly basis. But everything comes with practice: After a couple of months, I realized that I started to enjoy presenting and even professors told me that I had made a huge progress. Now after 2 years, I’m giving lectures to Master students at my university in Moscow, which would never have happened without my studies at MBS.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: Having studied in international environments throughout my high school and Bachelors studies, an international university was a definite must for me. Furthermore, besides a pure business related background, I was eager to find a university that would offer me the possibility to enhance my professional real estate background as well. As soon as I found out about the Dual Degree opportunities MBS had to offer (especially the Master of Science in International Real Estate at Florida International University), I could not see any better fit for me. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: In terms of tolerance and interpersonal relationships, MBS will revolutionize the way you interact with human beings. While in the beginning of my studies national origins and cultural backgrounds seemed to matter, they quickly resolved into one big student body with an excitingly vast group spirit. Integration of cultural ideas and principles as opposed to simply assimilating in order to fit in seemed to be a standard most students would strive upon to uphold. Accordingly, the intercultural environment at MBS was able to accomplish what many nations throughout the world are still not able to comprehend at a full scale: diversity is never a threat, but rather an opportunity to expand one’s horizon when faced with an open mind. Advice I’d give to people being interested in the Master’s program at MBS: Go ahead and check it out. There are literally dozens of different options when considering a study program at the MBS. There are numerous Dual Degree programs that offer opportunities for all types of academic backgrounds. The possibility to spend extensive time periods abroad as well as in the midst of an international student body in Germany will put you ahead as it firstly expands your horizon on a personal and academic level, and secondly it will render you unique when entering the local job market as most of your competition will not have a similar diverse and international background. I can only encourage every interested person to take the time and find out what option might be the best fitting for her or him.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: MBS gave me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge as well as being able to specialize in certain areas, which are rarely offered at other universities. I also liked the fact that the class was full of people from all over the world. Working with people from different cultural backgrounds was great practice for my future career. My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: It was very well organized. MBS hosted many field trips, which gave us the opportunity to get to know each other more closely. I also participated in the buddy program, which gave us the chance to regularly interact with and learn from each other. Building international teams is very different and it was challenging and fascinating alike to practice intercultural cooperation on a daily basis. The most valuable things I have learned from my studies at MBS: The most valuable thing I learned from my studies at MBS was the intercultural network - first during my time in Munich with all the international students as well as in my time abroad. We had excellent teachers from all over the world, which was an amazing experience for me. I didn’t only gain a lot of international work experience, but also made friends for life.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: I chose to study at MBS because of three main reasons. First of all, I wanted to continue my studies in an international and multicultural environment. With a Master's program completely taught in English, and students originating from multiple backgrounds and countries, MBS provided the perfect environment to gain both intercultural experience and improve my language skills. Secondly, MBS has good relations with a broad variety of highly ranked partner universities. My aim was to study in the US as well within the Master's program; a goal that I attained by obtaining the MBA from Florida International University. The third reason why I chose MBS was the city of Munich which, to me, is one of the greatest places in the world to live in. Advice I would give people interested in the Master’s program at MBS: The best advice I’d give people interested in the Master’s program at MBS is to participate in the Master Info Day which is an amazing opportunity to get to know the university and the program itself. This is a fantastic chance to ask current students all kinds of questions and to feel the personal atmosphere of Munich Business School for oneself. Also, you can participate in lectures that provide a good insight into what to expect from studying at Munich Business School. And my second advice: Apply for the Master's degree – studying at MBS is a fantastic experience! You will have to work hard, but it is worth the effort. My favorite lecture(s): My favorite lectures were all classes in the entrepreneurship course of Mr. Zeh. We students had the chance to develop our own business ideas, starting from scratch. My team developed an app that helps the customer control and optimize his/her own grocery shopping by tracking the contents of the customer’s fridge. Mr. Zeh taught us the basics of entrepreneurship, but then we students had to think outside the box in order to create something new. I really appreciated this class as we had the opportunity to be creative, which isn’t always the case in business studies. This course clearly aroused my interest in entrepreneurship, which might well be the reason why I’d like to found my own business someday.

What I would highlight: My experience with the intercultural environment at MBS: Amazing. The overall international experience was great. I was able to meet a lot of people from different nationalities and different backgrounds. This made the classes very complete and interesting, and gave us the opportunity to learn from each other’s lives and professional experiences. In addition, during my semester abroad I also got to experience living in a foreign country while learning a new language and getting to know a different culture. I believe all these intercultural interactions are very important for future professional relationships and for my personal development. What I liked most about my studies at MBS: I liked a lot the "Business Project", where together with a team of 6 people, we had constant contact and interaction with the company Naver (Communications company in Asia). As a final project we had the task of presenting a full entry strategy plan for the German market. This was one of the best experiences I have had, because we were able to work closely with Naver and their product department, acting as consultants. This gave me a fulfilling and real business life experience and the opportunity to present or results to and gain insight into one of the most important communications companies in the world. Advice I’d give to people being interested in the Master’s program at MBS: 1) Be prepared to work with very different people with very different backgrounds. Meaning: If you come from a pure financial background don’t expect everyone to be as knowledgeable as you in these topics, but rather try to explain to them what they don’t understand. On the other hand, be ready to get challenged in other issues you might not know that much about. You have to be a team player! 2) Try to get involved with as many people as you can. A lot of the learning you do at Business School comes from the people and not the teachers themselves. 3) Buy a planner. You will need it, especially if you are not very organized. You will have work due every week and new tasks on a daily basis. You don’t want to forget anything!

What I would highlight: Advantages of doing a Master’s Degree at MBS: One of the main advantages MBS offers is its very experienced team of professors and lecturers most of whom come with highly senior experience from leading companies in the business world, such as Audi, BMW, Ernst & Young and many others. In addition, when I started my Masters at MBS, I wasn't quite sure which area of business I wanted to focus on. Thus, the fact that MBS lets you pick Marketing, Finance and two more concentrations of your choice in the first semester provides you with the opportunity to try out the different concentrations and really get a feel for what you will be specializing in. At first, my goal was to concentrate on Luxury Management and Entrepreneurship, however, after the first semester I decided that my true passion lies in Innovation and Marketing. All in all, MBS lets you customize your academic curriculum based on individual preferences, wants and needs. Advice I’d give to people being interested in the Master’s program at MBS: Just do it! MBS is a great school. You’ll have a great time and learn a lot. The school offers everything you can ask from a private Business School. It’s well known, well ranked, and highly prestigious. It prepares you for your future job by offering practical experience, very diverse curricular activities and soft skills training. Unlike other schools that put the main emphases on theory, MBS goes the extra mile to prepare you for the future by giving you the full set of skills needed to be successful in today’s very competitive labor market. All in all, MBS is the perfect choice for those who want to excel in the business world and aspire to a successful career. Student life at MBS means … …FUN! The student life at MBS is really great. From the very first day, the so-called “Orientation Day”, our entire class of International Business students became friends and met up regularly for social events. This included a great atmosphere when working on the many projects, workshops and presentations we held in all our courses at MBS. In addition to many very entertaining activities during our leisure time.

What I would highlight: Why I chose to study at MBS in Munich: The main reasons for choosing MBS was the structure of the Master’s program with two concentrations and a semester abroad, as well as the status of the school. MBS is considered to be one of the best Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany and provides its students with high-quality education. What attracted me in terms of program structure was the business concentration “International Family Firms”, which is not a common subject taught in universities. Also worth mentioning is the focus of the school on practical experience including numerous case studies and close cooperation with many companies, which is definitely an important step towards a successful business career. In 5-years' time I see myself… … having gathered valuable working experience and developing my family business, hopefully with success! I believe that MBS provided me with all the important skills for finding my place in the world of business. Thanks to the practice-oriented studies I managed to write my master thesis about my family firm. I am sure this work will be valuable and helpful for the company’s further development and after feeling fit to take over I will manage to implement it and reach success! The most valuable things I have learned from my studies at MBS: I believe I have developed really good presentation skills which were also noted by the professors and which I definitely didn’t have before starting my Master’s at MBS. Every professor considers the way you present your projects and homework as an important part of their assessment. It is not only the content and information, but how you communicate it to the audience. Another valuable experience is teamwork. Every single project at MBS is done in teams of students, even papers are not written by one person. Therefore, it requires good time management and intercultural skills as well as well-developed communication skills.
