u will be required to perform a recital lasting between 8-10 minutes, produce two compositions - one based on the Western Classical Tradition and one free composition, as well as an historical and analytical study of the music of the Western Classical Tradition and Music Theatre. 2 AS Levels combined with a vocational option. Vocational options include: Applied Science, IT, Business, Criminology, Law, Sports and Exercise Sciences, or Health and Social Care.

This course extends the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to communicate through music and to take part in making music through performing, composing and appraising.
You will require 5 GCSEs at Grades A*- C including Music at grade B or above. Or a BTEC equivalent, plus performing ability equal to grade 5 on any instrument/voice.
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
