It provides the foundations of theory and practice within the industry, focusing on the development of the skills you will need to successfully work as a recording musician, studio engineer or DJ.If you are interested in music technology, recording and production, electronic music or sound engineering - then this study programme is for you. We aim to provide you with the flexibility and skills needed for success in the music industry. Many of our students go onto continue their music technology education on level 3 courses such as the BTEC national in music technology and then on to higher education to specialise in sound and music production or live sound. This one year programme consists of two qualifications taught in bite-size chunks, meaning that you will gain qualifications as you progress rather than just at the end.
