Course programme

The Hip Hop course explores a range of production styles and techniques. Our new 'Beat Analysis' tutorials deconstruct classic Hip Hop beats by the likes of Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Timbaland, RZA and The Neptunes to extract groove templates that you can then apply to your own tracks. You will also explore other techniques such as vocal arrangement and mixing, using a range of functions and features in Logic Pro.
