Internal assessment allows learners to develop a wider range of skills and provide evidence towards meeting the unit assessment criteria. Only one submission is allowed for each assignment Evidence for assessments can be generated through a range of activities, including role play, practical performance and verbal presentations In general, the types of evidence required of learners may include: Participation in public performance events Written and recorded (performed) musical compositions Assignments and/or musical project work Reports identifying specific skill development and equipment used Business plans/ CV Rehearsal and/or recording logs Diagrams/Graphs Illustrations/Screenshots Recorded Discussions Photos Tutor observation Video evidence of discussion/performance/composition Audio CD’s
