This course may be of interest to people who are keen to extend their music production skills but are unable to commit to a full-time course of study (perhaps due to full-time employment commitments).

Course programme

You will study six units (modules), which, on successful completion will give you a qualification the equivalent of an A Level. The course covers the following core units: Sound recording techniques Music technology in performance Creating a music product In addition to the core units students will take the following specialist units: Sound creation and manipulation Music sequencing The course will take the form of lectures, group work and individual work towards completion of assignments. Assignments will be set for each unit and time will be allocated in the evening session to work on individual assignments.
