Course Description

Do you want to start your own business as a Nail Technician? What about working in a nail bar, department store or beauty salon? The employment opportunities for qualified nail technicians are on the increase, and the Nail Technician Professional Diploma Course is the perfect course to turn your dreams into reality.

As a nail technician your job description will be extensive. You will need to be able to apply and decorate false nails and nail extensions, whilst consulting on the general health and well being of the client's hands and feet. You will need to know the necessary procedures to carry out a manicure or pedicure for the client and you may even want to use basic massage techniques to relax the client's hands and feet.

The Nail Technician Professional Diploma Course covers all of these areas in detail. It ensures that you will be fully prepared to either set up your own business as a Nail Technician or be sufficiently qualified to work as a Nail Technician.

Included in the Nail Technician Professional Diploma Course is all you need to know about manicure and pedicure, and thus you will not be required to study for a separate manicure and pedicure qualification in order to become qualified through Stonebridge Associated Colleges.

That means that it is independantly accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NFQ) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3).

The Award has been designed by a learning provider to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements and as such is not listed as a qualification on NQF.
