The Beach Lifeguard Qualification is run under the Royal Lifesaving Society banner. It is the basic qualification required for potential beach lifeguards.
The course covers basic emergency first aid, water based lifesaving techniques, emergency response, use of lifeguard equipment, bather supervision and dealing with the public.
The qualification is through the RLSS UK who also are the governing body for Pool Lifeguards
