Close Protection Course

What I would highlight: I think anybody would be hard pushed to find a more passionate and proffessional training provider, i really could not fault these guys they really have nailed it! A vast wealth of experience in the industry and a commitment to maintaining the standard of operators. The course itself was very challenging and you need to be prepared to put the hours in but the sense of acheivement at the end makes it all worth it!

What I would highlight: Those who attended March 2011 course will know what that means and more importantly- who said that. I should say that the that Common Sense was the motto of the course, therefore it was more than useful. There was a lot of absolutely necessary info given to students not only to fulfill the roles of CP team members, but also to run the CP work: to include info gathering, planning and executing the mission. Another indeed great approach to teaching was this one: this is A way, not the THE way to do things. Humble, yet professional way to put the idea- and well respected by students. Speaking of whom: it was great pleasure to work with such a small team, who understood each other from half- word, without having had chance to work together previously. It is worth something. With respect to all participants and instructors, Ray.

What I would highlight: A member of the forces for 24 years, thought the course was professionally laid out with the course instruction being top draw, the personal accounts of the CP world by the instructors were not only interesting but made you realise how important the Close Protection world is. if you are an ex member of the forces or someone that is a civilian wanting to change his or her direction then this course and company are second to none.

What I would highlight: The course was well catered for and the experiences of the trainers was phemomenal, as a group of 11 we gelled very quickly. The venue was in a mansion and the training area was perfect for the role. I would not hesitate in recomending National Security College as a course provider. I would give them 10/10..

What I would highlight: The instructors were simply amazing, a truly endless source of knowledge and real field experience, always with a great sense of humour to keep the hard work coming in a pleasant environment. As for how useful their training turned out to be afterwards, Every single piece of advice, every training exercise came back naturally and sure it helped me (and even my team mates) to, not only have the mission done, but enjoy doing it. Really, it's more than worth every single penny.

What I would highlight: I completed my course with the NSC in october 08, I found the course the a steep learning curve. my understanding of close protection is anyone who was in the armed forces will make a good CPO which is not the case. The Trainers at the NSC taught me how to convert my military skills into becoming a competent CPO. The course was great value for money, i enjoyed all the practical exercises we did. i would train with the NSC again Matt Mccomiskie

What I would highlight: I couldn't praise them enough, the instructors were simply amazing, a truly endless source of knowledge and real field experience, always with a great sense of humour to keep the hard work coming in a pleasant environment. As for how useful their training turned out to be afterwards, I can say that when I took the course I still was in the army (but obviously already thinking of taking the step into the circuit) and I got in a deployment which involved mostly PSD work. Every single piece of advice, every training exercise came back naturally and sure it helped me (and even my team mates) to, not only have the mission done, but enjoy doing it. Really, it's more than worth every single penny.

What I would highlight: I would highly recommend this course so you get up to date or learn the real profession as a HE close protection operator. An excellent service and training establishment with outstanding courses from the NSC with the full value for money factor. It's the real thing not just talk, if you don't make NSC's grade which is second to none, you fail... there's no if's or buts', it's as simple as that! It's not only just what you've been trained it's how and by whom you've been trained which counts for you and recognized, respected prospective future employers who know that what I've learnt I will use.

What I would highlight: The National Security College is a unique Training facility dedicated to providing the security industry with individuals who have received a standard of training so rigorous it challenges the most astute student due to the high demands required. The instruction is a tapered program to meet the needs of the individual regardless if they have previous experience in a hostile environment or the UK close protection arena. The training staff are all British military personnel with extensive experience in both UK and Middle East. The HECPO course provides a skill level second to none with the knowledge to implement those skills under duress. Staff are flexible and will assist students with weaknesses identified and will provide motivation and encouragement to succeed. The course provided me with the confidence to hit the ground running and enhance those skills when deployed. I thoroughly recommend the course and this training establishment to those seeking to increase their skill set or wishing to be deployed to a hostile environment. Mark E – former British Military and UK Police Service.

What I would highlight: Great course. Wasn't easy, hard and intense, just what i expect of good course. The staff was there 24 hours a day to back us up. My weekness was the english but the the staff and the others students were great and made me feel confident. People from different places, age and backgrounds, great experience. I flew with US troops a couple months ago and thanks to the radio procedure they tought me i was able to communicate etc... I look at things differently

What I would highlight: The course is very practical and realistic, just like the real thing would be like. Can't ask for better training, your IA drills just like the real deal when working down in the sand pit. Even thou we know how to do PSD work this course is good for staying sharp. You always learn something new. And that small thing you learn might just keep you alive. Absolutely worth it.
