Course Aims:
This course develops common areas of science such as biology and chemistry whilst providing tasters of others areas such as microbiology, cell biology, biotechnology and how science affects society. It is suited to candidates who have already completed Level 4 qualifications such as Introduction to Forensic Science or Standard Grade/ Intermediate 1 sciences. Throughout the course you will develop practical skills as well as learning about science, and can use this knowledge to progress to other courses such as HNC Applied Science/Biomedical Science or to seek work in science or health related laboratories.
