About this course
Minimum of 2 Standard Grades at level 3 or equivalent, or achievement of the Access to Construction or Engineering courses. Entry is subject to attendance at an information session and candidates must be physically fit to an industrial acceptable standard.

Bricklaying (Cavity Wall, Steps, Decorative, Arch Building). Ground Working Skills. Drainage. Construction Technology. Mono Blocking. Path Laying. Concrete Work. Health & Safety. Construction Drawing. Kerb Laying. Plastering, Rendering & Roughcasting. Communications, IT & Numeracy.
Progression Opportunities:
Successful candidates may secure employment or apprenticeships within the industry. Knowledge gained on the course would also give you confidence to become self-employed.

Careers could include apprenticeships in the construction industry or self-employment in hard landscaping areas.
