KEY FEATURES
This course was launched by the SQA in June 2007. The course has been updated to take into account new technologies such as Internet Technologies, Digital Games Design, Multimedia and Digital Photography. In addition, learners will also have the opportunity to gain a National Progression Award in Internet Safety and Digital Literacy, the European Computer Driving Licence and also PC Passport at beginner level.

PC Passport: Introduction to the Internet and On-line Communications; Office and Personal Productivity Applications; Computer Hardware and SystemS; Digital Media Elements for Applications; Digital Numeracy; Digital Communication Methods; Core Mathematics 2; Computing: Programming in a High Level Language - Fundamentals; PC Passport: Introduction to IT; PC Passport: Introduction to IT Software and Presenting Information; Internet Safety; Computer Games: Digital Games Design; Digital Media: Still images Acquisition; Digital Computing; Life Skills; Animation; Personal Development Planning.
