It is slightly more advanced that our Intermediate 1 course and provides an excellent base for progression onto HNC. Course Aims:
This hands-on, practical course is suitable for anyone with an interest in developing their Computing and IT skills. It is slightly more advanced that our Intermediate 1 course and provides an excellent base for progression onto HNC.   • PC Passport: Internet & Online Communications
  • PC Passport: IT Software, Word Processing & Presenting Information
  • PC Passport: IT Software, Spreadsheets & Database
  • PC Passport: IT Systems
Satisfactory completion of the PC Passport units allows the award of PC Passport at Intermediate level to be given.

Progression Opportunities:
Successful completion may provide entry to NC Computer Games Development, or any of the following HNC courses: Computing; Computing: Technical Support; Information Technology; Multimedia Computing with Web Development.

Career Potential:
Successful students will gain skills appropriate for entry level employment in a range of IT settings.

Course Assessment:
There are no formal examinations. Progress is monitored by continuous assessment throughout the year.
