NCFE Foundation Certificate In Creative Craft - (Interior Decorating) Level 1

Those wishing to gain basic skills in interior decorating.

This course will allow you to gain a foundation qualification in interior decorating. You will learn how to:

• Handle and store tools, materials and resources
• Develop a competent level of technical skill
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Apply paint to a variety of surfaces
• Basic wallpapering
• Decorative techniques

You will need to purchase suitable protective boots with steel toe caps and soles and overalls. Students cannot enter the workshop without these items.

Certificates/confirmation of results will not be available for this course until some time after the course finishes, due to external Awarding Body verification and qualification processes.

The award is assessed in college workshops and learners will be required to prepare and submit a portfolio of work.
