KEY FEATURES
The aim of the course is to develop the practical professional competences required to work effectively within the Beauty industry. The course is an excellent introduction to beauty and, the academic content will also give the learner the entry requirements needed to apply forNCGA Beauty Care ( Level 6 ). Assessment will be continuous and on-going in the form of case studies, projects, short answer/restricted response questions as well as observation of practical performance.

OTHER INFORMATION

Learners will be required to buy relevant items of professional equipment and clothing essential to the
course. Extra curricular activity includes additional short certificated courses in Fake Tanning, Nail Art, Make Up as well as visits to trade shows.

Artificial Nail Tips and Overlay; Facial Skin Care; Day Make-up and Basic Corrective Make-up; Bridal and Evening Make-up; Waxing Treatments; Manicure; Applying Practical Skills; Portfolio Presentation; Competition Practical Skills; Selling Skills; Causes and Prevention of Disease; Introducing Biological Cells; The Human Body; Communication (Intermediate 1); Communication (Intermediate 2).
