The award is only available to someone working in a Cisco Academy, and is training to be a Cisco Academy Instructor.

pg00002 EDUCATIONAL AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME • To share best practice in the delivery of network theory to academics working in a CNAP Academy. • To train instructors to particípate in the Cisco Network Academy Programme, delivering a variety of networking courses. • Deliver expertise in the field of electronic Communications and networking. • To share best practice in network design, implementation testing and optimization. • To prepare the instructor for professional certification. • provide an opportunity for structured technical learning to a standard recognised widely by the industry and which will contribute to the student's development to a professional standing within the available CPD framework. • provide support with personal development planning (PDP) within their work environment structure. • give an environment to encourage a commitment to lifelong learning What is distinctive about this programme? The awards are aimed to reinforce an instructor's knowledge in a number of industry accredited network subjects including: CCNA, Wireless 802.11 networking, Security using PlXfirewalls and ASAs, and IP Telephony. The awards will teach the instructor how to deliver and assess the course, working on the assumption that the participant has a good theoretical baseline. </div>
