About this course
Standard entry to this course requires one reference. It is desirable that you can demonstrate 90% attendance at your last place of work or study. You are required to have 4 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above to include English and maths. Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19, who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.

Course programme
Year 1
You will study and use development software to create your very own network. The course will cover the following subjects: computer architecture looks at hardware and how it interacts to form a computer system and platform. You will look at how a computer system is designed and what happens during operation. Website production which looks at servers, scripting and web hosting. The course also includes maths at level 3 for computing. Universities recommend having unit 26 for entry into computing degree programmes. Organisation systems security looks at cybersecurity.
