Course programme
This exciting full-time programme offers compulsory education to students in year 11. Attendance is full-time and matches the pattern of the school year. You are offered a mixture of formal and informal education in a variety of settings. You will have the opportunity where appropriate, to access specific vocational training and extended work-based learning. In addition, you will study Functional Skills in English,maths and ICT as part of your main programme. Programmes are tailored to suit individual needs and provide pathways to further study, Apprenticeships and employment.
All applicants to the programme must have the approval of the Local Education Authority (information and guidance on this procedure must be sought from the Area Education Office) or from schools.
All learners will complete an initial six week short programme from September to half-term. Successful completion of a short programme secures progression to the main New Approach programme. This course is a Study Programme, which includes Functional Skills, WorkSkills and activity based learning and enrichment.

Learners will have the opportunity to follow personalised learning programmes.

Entry Requirements
Approval from the local Education Authority (LEA). Students need to demonstrate a commitment to working towards agreed outcomes and successfully complete a taster module.

Applying for a Full-Time course
Our term starts the week commencing 5th September 2016,
however you may have different start dates depending on the course.
You will receive the details of your first day over the summer period,
