Course programme

Amelia Edwards, a successful journalist and author, spent six months travelling up the Nile in 1874. Using contemporary photographs and extracts from her best-seller "A Thousand Miles up the Nile" we will follow her progress through an Egypt essentially unchanged from ancient times. Suitable for all.

The publication of this autumn's syllabus marks the first anniversary of the independent Guildford Institute. We are grateful to tutors and students for their support over the past year. We continue to be well subscribed, and we feel sure that you will find something to interest you in our autumn term brochure.
