The typical Midwest weather between warm and cold days makes it nice and enjoyable. I haven't spent winter yet so the horror stories of freezing cold and wild snowstorms are yet to be discovered.

What I would highlight:
Competition is definitely up being a 5 b school but the application process is easy. Prepare early but also experience work, volunteer, life to be unique. when you're applying the admissions insist to have a logical path for a progressive career but it doesn't matter when you get into a program the classes are all diverse.

Evanston is small town but with great fooding options. However if you are in south you have an option to go to Noyes as well.

Engineering courses at Northwestern are really great and worth your time. Faculty for the same are excellent.

What I would highlight:
I very much appreciate the safety and security provided by the university of Northwestern. The only cases you might here are about the robberies that happens out at the edges of campus. Overall it feels relatively safe on the campus.

Transportation provides free shuttles semi frequently but it runs late that's what I heard though I didn't use it on own as everything is in enough walking distance for being the campus small.

I didn't find the school as great as promised in advertisements. The people are way too stereotyped. Some students group are working good as well. Chinese students has great strength and unity.

There are cops around the campus and off the campus as well for security.They are very harsh on you but all you are require to do is behave respectfully to them else you have to face the music.

I found the Evanston town quite amazing and beautifully located in a peaceful environment without missing the city exposure because Chicago city is just a ride short El ride away.

I very mch like the huge library the university has. It is a great place to escape from worldly distractions and work for what you are here, studies. Also it is opened round the clock.

Northwestern is nicely located in a small town Evanston which is near to Chicago city. The town has got plenty of options for dining. It feels to be home here. This place is full of cultural experiences and much more to do.

The town is quiet with big neighbour cities if you don't get anything to do in Evanston you can go to the heart of Chicago in about an hour.

What I would highlight:
Strict parking rules, you get caught and fined even for 5 min parking in the wrong place. compared to other colleges permit is average, and on campus, living doesn't need a car though but for the one living more than 2 miles that too only in winter for brutal biking and commuters shuttle
