Ellie Oakes is a Director of NOV8 Ltd, a consultancy focused on enabling transformation within both individuals and organisations in a way that is often described as ‘magical’.A qualified accountant, Ellie has worked in a range of senior finance leadership roles including B&Q, Johnson Controls and British Gas. Ellie has expertise and experience in designing and delivering innovative training and consultancy products which make a real difference at an organisational or personal level.

John is a talented and experienced senior facilitator and coach. Having spent over 20 years in a variety of senior leadership roles, CA qualified, John is now passionately engaged in helping individuals and organisations transform into who and what they want to be. John is a Master Practitioner of NLP, an Insights Accredited Licensed Practitioner, a qualified member of the International NLP Trainers Association and an experienced coach.

History

NOV8 was founded in 2002 by Ellie Oakes. Ellie, a qualified accountant ,was fascinated by the relationship between finance and non-finance and left corporate life to "do something about it!" She was soon designing and delivering in-company training courses for non-finance people and from this "Funky Finance" was born. Not satisfied with transforming how people think, feel and behave around finance, Ellie and her team now work with organisations and individuals transforming culture, relationships and behaviour. They do this by operating at a values and beliefs level rather than looking at skills and knowledge (important though they are!) NOV8's base is in Chippenham, Wilts, although Ellie and her team work with companies all over the UK. Their clients include John Lewis, Jungheinrich, Battersea Dogs Home, UIA Insurance, 2Entertain and Warburtons.
