Job opportunities after this course: This course covers the most popular of chainsaw units and are the first two required by a chainsaw operator in the Arboriculture Industry. On completion of this course, you will have the NPTC Certificates of Competence for the maintenance and use of a chainsaw for wood already on the ground and also the certificate for felling small trees (less than 380mm in diameter). These qualifications are recognised by the Industry and are essential for employment.

Course programme
Overview of the course:
A practical course - 5 days over two week, 2 days in week one and 3 days in week two. Over the two weeks you will have gained the practical skills and knowledge to enable you a take practical assessment on both units. Assessments will be a practical assessment with an assessor for NPTC; One assessment in week one on the day following training and one assessment in week two the day following training.
