The Graduate Certificate in Nurse Practitioner provides both theoretical and clinical content related to meeting adult health care needs and prepares registered nurses who already earned a master’s degree in nursing to take the American Nurses Credentialing Center Nurse Practitioner certification examination.  Successful completion of an approved certification examination is a prerequisite for applying for nurse practitioner licensure at the state level.
