As a Quality Award Centre through the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM), NVC Awareness have played a significant part in the introduction of the National Occupational Standards for the Prevention and Management of Work-Related Violence which are designed to support the development of good practice and awareness in the workplace, and the needs of employers and employees. The have been developed and reviewed in consultation with employees, sector specialists and stakeholders and awarding organisations. They are widely imported into other suites of national occupational standards and mapped to Awards and Development programmes.
