Course programme

Overview of the course:

The OCR Level 3 programmes are designed to help you extend your understanding of the Art and Design Industry whilst developing your skills across a range of media; you will learn techniques as well as create your own pieces. You will work on a range of projects in a number of locations. Learners have the opportunity to witness art at the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum whilst visiting Holland; design their own sculpture; participate in a Fashion Show as designer and model and be made up as a zombie for the Zombie Apocalypse Halloween event. If you are passionate about working in the Art and Design Industry, then this is the programme for you.

Topics:

The programme is 'learner responsive' which means we build projects around the learners who have chosen this route of study. You will be given guidance over the development of projects, which help you to develop confidence across a range of media such as 2 and 3D work, computer based design, photography, graphics, fashion and textiles and many more . You will also participate in an annual exhibition of work where you may sell pieces and you will also have the opportunity to see professional works at galleries and venues in London and experience a different culture in Holland.
