Have been studying for the past year to take my exam, found the course material very in-depth, and prepared me for my final exam. I think though that i should have made myself a timetable as found it hard to juggle family, job and study time. My tutor always answered my questions and comments on my SAPs, however it would have been nice to been given a nudge to submit more and asked if further help was needed. (however that is i suppose the learners doing!) I am a person that needs pushing and at time i lacked motivation. A question bank or mock exam would also have been helpful towards the end for revision. Overall though i would enjoyed the course structure and am more than happy with my grade. Thank you for all your help.

The tutor was very helpful throughout and responded very quickly when in need, the course is much better then a college course as you can do it as quick/slow as you want without the dreaded deadlines. 1 year was more then enough time to do the course.

This course has been one of the most enjoyable and informative level 3 courses I have studied. The course was easy to follow and the assignments relevant to the material. The course expects independent study, such as research, but this is very easily managed. There are 13 assignments which carry a certain amount of indepth information to answer but this is easily achievable with how well the course has been written. The end of course assessment was a pleasure to do and something I learned the most from. The help and advice from Joshua Cole, the tutor, has been invaluable. Joshua strives to get his students to pass the assignments by outlining clearly what is expected and how to achieve answering the assignments concisely with minimum difficulty. The feedback was positive and constructive and most of all very encouraging. I would recommend studying this course, not only does it enhance study skills and knowledge but carries a recognised qualification which is advantageous within the workforce or even gaining a university or college place.

This course has been one of the most enjoyable and informative level 3 courses I have studied. The course was easy to follow and the assignments relevant to the material. Having never done a course like this before I initially felt quite apprehensive but once I begun to focus on the subject and worked through the notes I felt more at ease. Completing the TMAs and receiving feedback certainly helped as I felt I was on the right track. The course was thoroughly enjoyable and at the right level for what I require at this stage. Having completed the course it will certainly help me in my work, I will be looking at plants and the environment in a different way from now on. The course content covered a wide range of topics that encompass Botany and I have learnt a great deal from the subject as a whole and I hope to continue to learn more about some of the subjects covered.
