About this course

The programme is suitable for dentists who wish to develop their interest in Orthodontics and/or who wish to develop a special interest in orthodontics

Hold a license to practise dentistry (BDS or LDS or international equivalent)
Be a current member of the General Dental Council or international equivalent for overseas candidates
Have their own indemnity insurance for practising dentistry
Normally have completed one year post-qualification, which may be Dental Foundation Training where ap

Teaching methods:

Much of our teaching is carried out in our regional teaching centre in Royal Leamington Spa.

We use a wide variety of educational tools, including a hands-on typodont session in our clinical skills laboratory.

Receive tutoring from a wide range of experts in the field of Orthodontics.

Receive support to think creatively and independently, to solve problems, to exercise judgment, and to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and colleagues

Our lecturing team have vast experience in all clinical treatment modalities, including self-ligation mechanics such as the Damon system, lingual appliances, and the Invisalign appliance.
