Description
OTC is the trading name for Oldham Engineering Group Training Association Limited. The organisation was formed in 1966 to meet the needs of local engineering employers. In 1997, the name was changed to OTC not only because the original name was too long but to better reflect the types of training we provide. In the 1980s we introduced Fork Lift Training and certification, Business Administration and Customer Service training, and more recently in 1999 Information Technology training was introduced. At any one time OTC have around 100 member companies and a further 200 non-member companies who use our services regularly. This means our links with industry are very strong. We also have at any one time, approximately 450 learners, working towards their awards.
