Course 118 - OVERHEAD CRANES - Cab, Pendant, Radio or Infra-Red Controlled

• Be able to operate machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice
• Carry out daily maintenance

• Understand signs given by signaller (if cab operated)
• Have an understanding of responsibilities under current relevant legislation.

Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

1-5 days depending upon control and experience.

Eligible companies may be able to claim grants toward their Training as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.

Intermediate Certificate, Scottish Progression Award, CPCS Trained Operator Card, RTITB or Theory & Practical.
