History
I have been a professional photographer for 16 years, am an experienced educator and experienced teacher in further education. I am the photography tutor, teaching on the Art & Design foundation course at Bellerbys College Oxford and I also teach 12-18 years olds at Queen Anne's School in Caversham so I have teaching experience across a wide spectrum.
Advantages of studying here
As a professional photographer I use my photography knowledge, skill and experience every day to earn a living. I am used to the high professional standards demanded by commercial clients. I bring all this to my teaching along with a patient and empathic approach. I know we all have to start somewhere and firmly believe there is no such thing as a stupid question.
Above all I am passionate about promoting photography and developing skills in others, not just as a profession but as a lifelong activity.
