This course is designed to provide a coherent programme of professional training for those working in / wishing to work in post-compulsory education and training, including untrained part-time FE / HE tutors, adult and community tutors, youth work tutors, fire and police officers, health professionals, industrial / commercial trainers, private trainers, armed forces personnel and educational support workers operating in any industrial capacity for a considerable part of their working day.

You will be required to hold a recognised qualification in your chosen subject and be able to demonstrate relevant industrial, professional or commercial experience where appropriate. The minimum qualification, unless your job role already requires you to teach, is NVQ level 3 or equivalent, depending on subject area and experience for the Professional certificate, a degree is required for the Professional Graduate Certificate.
