Course programme

Enriched air is commonly known as 'Nitrox' and gives the diver the advantage of staying underwater for longer and is also healthier due to the higher oxygen content in the cylinder.

As with all PADI courses the majority of the knowledge development can be completed by independent study using both the enriched air diver manual and video. Prior to the diving component of the course you will also complete a practical application session, held at our Nitrox filling station where we will take you through the actual process of obtaining a Nitrox fill, with you personally using an oxygen analyser to determine the oxygen content in your Nitrox blend.

There are two training dives where you will apply what you have learnt by studying the manual and video; the practical application session will complete the course. Because most of what you will practise involves pre-dive planning and activities rather than the actual dives, we can run the nitrox programme concurrently with other training; giving us a lot of flexibility to run the course around your schedule.

Time 18:30 - 21:30
