Paediatric Baby & Child First Aid Course OSFTED & SureStart Compliant

This course meets the OFSTED & Sure-Start requirements for those working in care settings for the under 8's. This course is highly participative, and allows delegates to discuss their own experiences and questions in an open and relaxed workshop fashion. Delegates will have plenty of practice at resuscitation on adults, children and babies, along with the recovery position, and minor injuries

• Basic Life Support (CPR – All ages)
• Spinal and Head Injuries
• Choking (all ages), Asthma, Croup & Other Respiratory Illnesses
• Unconsciousness
• Bleeding & Wounds, Burns, Fractures
• Shock, Anaphylaxis
• Meningitis, Poisoning, Fitting & Epilepsy
• The Responsibilities of a First Aider

This 2 day course will provide delegates with the confidence to manage a range of injuries, medical conditions, and childhood illnesses including anaphylaxis, asthma, and meningitis.
