Course programme

Course Aim: Essential for anyone working with children, the course is aimed at staff working with children who need to be qualified and meet the requirements of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (PSLA) and/or those interested in paediatric first aid.

Course Details
: This 12 hour course meets current Ofsted requirements for Paediatric First Aid Training and is accredited by the PSLA.

The course objectives are to equip participants with a comprehensive range of skills to enable them to respond calmly and confidently in the event of a child becoming unwell or injuring themselves.

Course Outcome: On successful completion you will be issued a Paediatric First Aid certificate valid for three years.

Course Times: 9:15am - 4:45pm.

Payment options: Non-subsidised - £85 (per person) if: (a) you work in another part of the Children & Young People sector or (b) you work in a setting outside the Bristol Local Authority area.
